5 Billion, Seratus tingkat

Menara Warisan
Isu Menara Warisan (MW) tak habis lagi. Siap ada group bantah pembinaan menara warisan kat facebook lagi. Aku sebenarnya malas betul nak menulis nih,. bukan ada orang nak baca pun,. bengong atip! Actually aku amat bersetuju dengan pendapat somebody; bila mengkritik idea kerajaan, tak semestinya kita berada di pihak parti pembangkang. Kita sepatutnya menilai kerajaan atau pembangkang pada dasar parti dan pelaksanaanya dengan minda terbuka dan rasional. Bercakap pasal Menara Warisan ni pula, aku bukanlah individu yang layak nak memuktamadkan samada berbaloi atau tak projek nih. Tak pandai manapun, siap kena terminate lagi scholarship aku. Hampeh betul! Tapi, taklah bangang sangat nak diam sahaja. Dari bacaan aku;

Ada yang tak setuju sebab katanya MW ni just Iconic Monument Najib. Aku pikir, bangunan lawa-lawa ni penting juga, sebab ibarat lelaki nak mengorat pompuan, kena la dressing smart2,. camtuh la jugak nak tarik investor, kena la tunjuk pencapaian yang boleh dilihat dengan mata kasar sama. Actually aku malas nak komen pasal MW nih, sebab aku x power langsung pasal economic. Aku pun bukanlah sokong 100% projek ni. Aku noob dowh bab2 nih! Aku kalau boleh nak minta PNB clear everything with fact and figures. One more thing yang aku tau pasal economy nih, bukahlah sesuatu yang binary. Hard to decide whether a specific economic decision is right or wrong.

Tapi, its a waste of time la, to bs something without trying to fix it or at least give constructive criticism. Ada yang cadang, gunakan 5 billion untuk hantar pelajar medic ke UK or what so ever. Aku tak setuju cadangan tuh, sebab tak holistik.

IDEAS

The idea to establish an institute to promote libertarian ideals was first mooted by 3 friends – Wan Saiful Wan Jan, Tunku ‘Abidin Muhriz, and Wan Mohd Firdaus Wan Mohd Fuaad – in early 2006, having realised that there is a need to promote libertarian (classical liberal) ideas to Malaysians in a more strategic and organised fashion.

Dorang grad from UK and penglibatan dorang di peringkat antarabangsa sangat mengagumkan. Boleh check profil depa. Salute depa!

Cromwell

It was Sunday evening when I watched 7o's film entitled Cromwell on channel TV2 while having Milo and 'Roti Kering'. The film was already halfway, but still I could understand the main conflict and theme. Disgusted with the policies of King Charles I, Oliver Cromwell plans to take his family to the New World. But on the eve of their departure, Cromwell is drawn into the tangled web of religion and politics that will result in the English Civil War. So, basically its Cromwell VS King Charles I. For more details click here . You can also watch the movie in YouTube. There is one scene that caught my attention. It was very inspiring.

Developed Nation, 2020

When the prime minister ambitiously waging the Wawasan 2020, I can't stop myself from being pessimist. I'm in between, being optimistic or realistic. I would love to see Malaysia as a developed country before 2020. The wages would increase, low unemployment rate and many more benefits. But it seems hard to achieve W2020 as it is just ten years from now, and there are a lot of transformation need to be done and the hardest thing is to build a nation with a first class mentality which Tun have been working on for almost 20 years but still he did not succeed. I don't think the government should rush for 2020. Take time, and always do check and error when implementing strategies toward W2020. Hopefully there wont be irreversible, untraceable mistake that could lead to socio-economic imbalance such as increasing gap between low and high class group hence narrowing the middle class group(capitalist effect). You can read these reports by Proud 2Be Malaysian blog, Forbes , Tony Pua and of course Najib 1 Malaysia to make evaluation. Those who used to live in developed country in North America, Western Europe or Japan have better idea on how a developed country looks like. How the people think and their lifestyle.

Should or Shouldn't

I applied to do internship in ACM about few weeks ago, and my application have been accepted. At the first glance, ACM is quite a big company with below manufacturing capabilities.

I'm suppose to start my practical this Tuesday, 12 Oct 2010 but I asked for a delay and planned to start on 19 Oct 2010. Erm,. I am in dilemma. It takes around 40 minutes to go to that company by motorcycle. I don't know whether I could stand, waking up at 6++ and start my motorcycle at 7.00 a.m and risk my life to get there.

The route from the place where I'm temporarily staying to ACM, very close to Thai-Msian border.
ps: Kena test pegi tempat tu this week. Do some calculation on fuel cost, then decide! Tanpa keberanian mimpi takkan bermakna,. peace, and gudnite...
