Developed Nation, 2020

When the prime minister ambitiously waging the Wawasan 2020, I can't stop myself from being pessimist. I'm in between, being optimistic or realistic. I would love to see Malaysia as a developed country before 2020. The wages would increase, low unemployment rate and many more benefits. But it seems hard to achieve W2020 as it is just ten years from now, and there are a lot of transformation need to be done and the hardest thing is to build a nation with a first class mentality which Tun have been working on for almost 20 years but still he did not succeed. I don't think the government should rush for 2020. Take time, and always do check and error when implementing strategies toward W2020. Hopefully there wont be irreversible, untraceable mistake that could lead to socio-economic imbalance such as increasing gap between low and high class group hence narrowing the middle class group(capitalist effect). You can read these reports by Proud 2Be Malaysian blog, Forbes , Tony Pua and of course Najib 1 Malaysia to make evaluation. Those who used to live in developed country in North America, Western Europe or Japan have better idea on how a developed country looks like. How the people think and their lifestyle.
